GuestPass Support

Most guests can join by opening Camera and pointing it at the QR code. No guest app is required.

Create a pass

Tap the plus button, enter the guest network name and password, choose its security type, and tap Save. Use a guest network rather than your primary home network whenever your router supports one.

Test a pass

Tap Test on the pass. iOS controls the final Wi‑Fi join prompt and may ask for permission. If joining fails, confirm the network name, password, and WPA/open setting exactly match the router.

Use the Lock Screen widget

Add the GuestPass widget from the iOS widget gallery. For your privacy, the widget never stores or displays the password; it opens GuestPass to the active pass.

Use Apple Watch

Install the GuestPass Watch app and open the iPhone app once. The active pass transfers to the paired Watch. If it appears stale, make the desired pass active again while both devices are nearby.

Print a tent card

Tap Print, choose an AirPrint printer, and print at 100% scale on Letter paper. Fold on the dashed line. If no printer appears, confirm the printer and iPhone are on the same network and AirPrint is enabled.
