Privacy Policy

GuestPass is built to keep guest Wi‑Fi sharing private. We do not collect personal data or Wi‑Fi credentials.

Data collection

GuestPass does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information, usage data, diagnostics, advertising identifiers, or Wi‑Fi credentials. The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

Information stored on your devices

Network names, display names, welcome messages, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. Wi‑Fi passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain. When you use the Apple Watch companion, the active pass is transferred directly between your paired Apple devices using Apple’s Watch Connectivity framework.

Printing and sharing

When you choose Print or Share, GuestPass creates a QR code or PDF on your device and hands it to Apple’s system print or share interface. GuestPass does not receive information about the printer, recipient, or service you choose. A shared or printed QR code contains the network credentials you entered, so only share it with people you trust.

Retention and deletion

Your passes remain on your device until you delete them in GuestPass. Deleting a pass removes its saved credential from the Keychain and updates the paired Watch to remove or replace its active copy. Apple platforms may retain Keychain items after an app is uninstalled, so delete passes inside GuestPass before uninstalling if you want to remove their credentials. Because GuestPass does not operate an account or server, there is no server-side user record to request or delete.

Children

GuestPass does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If GuestPass’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the change is released.
